Getting Started
Logging In
-
Visit pintracker.live
-
Click “Admin Login” in the navigation bar

Enter your credentials:
-
Club ID: Your unique club identifier
-
Password: Provided by your administrator
Dashboard Overview
After logging in, you’ll see your tournament dashboard with:

Active Tournaments: Currently running competitions
-
Upcoming Tournaments: Scheduled future events
-
Past Tournaments: Completed competitions
-
Create New Tournament button (top right)
Creating Your First Tournament
Step 1: Basic Information
Click “New Tournament” and fill in the required fields:
Tournament Name

Enter a descriptive name (e.g., “Spring Championship 2026”)

Keep it short and memorable for players
Dates

Start Date: When the tournament begins
-
End Date: When it concludes (defaults to start date if not specified)

Note: Tournament status automatically updates based on dates:

🔒 Prepared: Before start date

🟢 Active: During tournament period
-
✅ Completed: After end date
Scoring Type
Choose one of three scoring methods:
1. Lowest Total Distance

Sum of all hole distances
-
Lowest total wins
-
Best for: Overall competition
2. Lowest Per Hole
-
Each hole has separate winners
-
Best score per hole wins that hole
-
Best for: Multiple prizes per tournament
3. Points System

Assign points based on ranking
-
Customize point values

Best for: Season-long competitions
Distance Unit
Select measurement preference:

Centimeters (default, most precise)
-
Meters (larger distances)
-
Inches (imperial)
-
Feet (imperial, larger distances)
💡 Tip: Most European clubs use centimeters
Step 2: Additional Settings
Player ID Requirement
Toggle “Require Player ID”:
-
ON (default): Players must enter unique ID
-
Best for: Official tournaments, tracking across events
-
Players enter: Name + Player ID
-
OFF: Only name required
-
Best for: Casual events, one-time competitions
-
Faster entry, less friction
Tournament Information Message
-
Optional welcome message for players
-
Maximum 200 characters
-
Example: “Welcome to our Spring Championship! Good luck! 🏆”

Displays on tournament home screen
Step 3: Save Tournament
Click “Save Tournament” at the bottom
Important: You’ll stay on the edit page to add holes next!
Managing Holes
Adding Holes Manually
After saving your tournament:

Find the “Manage Holes” section
-
Enter Hole Number (e.g., 1, 4, 12, 17)

Enter Par (optional, defaults to 3)
-
Click “Add Hole”
-
Repeat for each hole
💡 Quick Tip: Most closest-to-pin events use 3-9 holes
Editing Holes

Holes appear as numbered cards

Click to select and manage
-
Warning: Cannot modify holes once scores are recorded
Deleting Holes

Find the hole card
-
Click “Delete” icon
-
Confirm deletion
-
Warning: Cannot delete if scores exist
Using Hole Templates
Save time by creating reusable hole configurations!
Creating a Template
When: After setting up holes for a tournament

Scroll to “Save as Hole Template” section
-
Enter Template Name (e.g., “North Course 6 Holes”)

Enter Description (optional, e.g., “Spring/Summer layout”)
-
Click “Save Template”
💡 Tip: Create templates for different seasons or course layouts
Applying a Template
When: Creating a new tournament or starting fresh

In tournament edit mode

Find “Apply Hole Template” dropdown

Select your template

Click “Apply Template”

All holes are added instantly!

After saving your tournament:

Resetting Scores
Warning: This deletes ALL tournament data!
When to Use:

Troubleshooting
Issue: Holes Section Not Showing
Cause: Tournament not yet saved
Solution: Click “Save Tournament” first, then manage holes
Issue: Cannot Modify Holes
Cause: Scores already recorded
Solution:

Reset scores (deletes all data), OR

Create new tournament with correct holes
Issue: Players Can’t Access Tournament
Check:

Tournament status is “Active” or “Prepared”
-
Share link is correct
-
Tournament access code hasn’t changed
-
Players using provided link/QR code
Issue: Template Won’t Apply
Cause: Scores exist on current holes
Solution: Reset scores first, then apply template
Issue: Player ID Not Showing
Check: “Require Player ID” toggle is ON in tournament settings
