Getting Started

Logging In

  1. Visit pintracker.live
  2. Click “Admin Login” in the navigation bar
  3. Enter your credentials:
    • Club ID: Your unique club identifier
    • Password: Provided by your administrator

Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you’ll see your tournament dashboard with:


Creating Your First Tournament

Step 1: Basic Information

Click “New Tournament” and fill in the required fields:

Tournament Name

Dates

Scoring Type

Choose one of three scoring methods:

1. Lowest Total Distance

2. Lowest Per Hole

3. Points System

Distance Unit

Select measurement preference:

💡 Tip: Most European clubs use centimeters

Step 2: Additional Settings

Player ID Requirement

Toggle “Require Player ID”:

Tournament Information Message

Step 3: Save Tournament

Click “Save Tournament” at the bottom

Important: You’ll stay on the edit page to add holes next!


Managing Holes

Adding Holes Manually

After saving your tournament:

  1. Find the “Manage Holes” section
  2. Enter Hole Number (e.g., 1, 4, 12, 17)
  3. Enter Par (optional, defaults to 3)
  4. Click “Add Hole”
  5. Repeat for each hole

💡 Quick Tip: Most closest-to-pin events use 3-9 holes

Editing Holes

Deleting Holes

  1. Find the hole card
  2. Click “Delete” icon
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. Warning: Cannot delete if scores exist

Using Hole Templates

Save time by creating reusable hole configurations!

Creating a Template

When: After setting up holes for a tournament

  1. Scroll to “Save as Hole Template” section
  2. Enter Template Name (e.g., “North Course 6 Holes”)
  3. Enter Description (optional, e.g., “Spring/Summer layout”)
  4. Click “Save Template”

💡 Tip: Create templates for different seasons or course layouts

Applying a Template

When: Creating a new tournament or starting fresh

  1. In tournament edit mode
  2. Find “Apply Hole Template” dropdown
  3. Select your template
  4. Click “Apply Template”
  5. All holes are added instantly!

  1. Find template in list
  2. Click delete icon (🗑️)
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. Note: Doesn’t affect existing tournaments

Sharing Your Tournament

Generating QR Code & Link

After saving your tournament:

  1. Go to tournament list
  2. Click on tournament name to view
  3. Click “Share Tournament” button
  4. Tournament page opens with:
    • QR Code: Display at your club
    • Share Link: Send via email/SMS
    • Copy Link button: Quick copy

Resetting Scores

Warning: This deletes ALL tournament data!

When to Use:

Steps:

  1. Edit tournament
  2. Scroll to “Danger Zone”
  3. Click “Reset Scores”
  4. Confirm action
  5. All players and measurements deleted

Note: Cannot be undone!

Deleting Tournaments

Permanent Action - Cannot be undone!

Steps:

  1. Edit tournament
  2. Scroll to “Danger Zone”
  3. Click red “Delete” button
  4. Confirm deletion
  5. Tournament and all data removed

Troubleshooting

Issue: Holes Section Not Showing

Cause: Tournament not yet saved Solution: Click “Save Tournament” first, then manage holes

Issue: Cannot Modify Holes

Cause: Scores already recorded Solution:

Issue: Players Can’t Access Tournament

Check:

  1. Tournament status is “Active” or “Prepared”
  2. Share link is correct
  3. Tournament access code hasn’t changed
  4. Players using provided link/QR code

Issue: Template Won’t Apply

Cause: Scores exist on current holes Solution: Reset scores first, then apply template

Issue: Player ID Not Showing

Check: “Require Player ID” toggle is ON in tournament settings
